Paul Bates

Head of Post Production/Online Editor/Colourist

Paul joined Diverse in 1992 as online editor. He became Head of Post Production in 2002 but continues in his role of Editor and Colourist. Paul has worked in the television industry since 1982. Prior to joining Diverse he worked in Videotape and Telecine departments at the BBC and as a staff Editor at Soho facilities house TVi.

John Pendal

Facilities Manager

John joined Diverse in September 2004 following ten years working for broadcasters including Meridian ITV, NBC Europe and most recently Channel 4.

Andy Macrae

Senior Engineer

Andy is our staff senior engineer qualified in electronic engineering. He has over 18 years experience working in the broadcast industry and is responsible for the day to day technical running of the facility as well as planned maintenance and long term upgrading and installation projects.

Andy is an Avid certified support representative for Avid windows based media composer products, as well as having successfully completed training for Apple Mac based systems. In addition he has been trained by both Sony and Panasonic on a wide range of broadcast products.

Dubbing Mixer

Andy joined Diverse in October 2001 and quickly worked his way through the ranks. He graduated from The London College of Music and Media in May of 2000 after completing a degree in Media Production. Andy successfully completed a ProTools audio course in 2003, and is now specialising in audio, including audio editing, track-laying and dubbing.
