BBC TWO is launching a new series which will travel the country in a hunt for the nation's home movie archive.
If you thought shooting video yourself and showing it off on YouTube was a new thing...you'd be wrong. For a hundred years the British have filmed their own lives, on their own cameras. This is one hundred years of Britain's Home Movies.
The series appealed for people send in their favourite pieces of home movie footage. An expert team of film historians pored over them and more amateur films held in the nation's film archives. And the team took to the road in a specially constructed cine bus to hear about the films in person.
Presented by; Dan Cruickshank and Kirsty Wark, with experts Robin Baker and Binny Baker.
