DIVERSE LONDON UPS MARK ROBERTS TO HEAD OF FACTUAL

London, 6th March – Diverse London, part of Zodiak Entertainment, can today announce the promotion of Mark Roberts to Head of Factual, to drive Diverse’s programming and development across specialist factual, documentaries, popular factual and docu-drama.
Roberts joined Diverse London as Executive Producer in November 2007 and his programming credits at the company include The Prisoner, The Real Slumdog Millionaires, Hope for the Last Chance Kids and Britain’s Rich List.

Previously at the UK’s Channel 4, Roberts was responsible for the multi-award winning China’s Stolen Children and Undercover in Tibet. He also commissioned a wide range of programming including Queen Camilla, Packaging is Rubbish and Hitler’s British Girl alongside the docu-dramas Why We Went To War and The Family Who Vanished. Roberts began his career working on long-running programmes for Granada and the BBC including What The Papers Say, World In Action and Modern Times. He was also responsible for developing The Experiment, The Plot Against Harold Wilson and The Lost World of Mitchell and Kenyon.
